Guardian Application

If you would like to be a guardian for one of our trips to Washington, D.C., please fill out this form and send to:

Puget Sound Honor Flight
PO Box 434
Grapeview, WA 98546

Please note there is a guardian fee of approximately $1,000 (which can be made in the form of a tax-deductible donation – please consult your tax professional).

Guardians are essential to the success of the Puget Sound Honor Flight program. Without these volunteers, we would not be able to carry out the dreams of so many World War II and other veterans, enabling them to see the memorials built in their honor.

Once the veterans start to arrive at the airport, guardians will ensure boarding passes and IDs are available, help to distribute Puget Sound Honor Flight T-shirts and collateral, get veterans through security and to the gate, assist in boarding, etc.

From the moment the veterans are in our hands until the point we return them to their loved ones back in Seattle, guardians will be asked to treat these heroes as if they are family and ensure that every veteran has a safe, memorable, and rewarding experience. Guardians are volunteers and are expected to pay for their trip. Prices will vary depending on airline fares.
