Volunteers might be asked to assist with send-off and welcome home celebrations at the airport, attend information booths at events, organize a fundraiser, or help with general mailing and clerical work.

Without these volunteer escorts who accompany veterans to Washington, D.C., we would not be able to carry out our mission to celebrate our heroes and enable them to visit and reflect at the memorials built in their honor.
